About Robyn Friend

Robyn Friend is the author of two novels, three oral history collections and numerous articles, short stories, essays and reviews that have appeared here and in other countries over a period of forty years. She is a past peer of the Australia Council and member of the editorial board of The Indian Journal Of Australian and New Zealand Cultural Studies. She lives in northern Tasmania, where her garden is a haven for wildlife.
