The <\/span>Rationale<\/span><\/i> magazine is an online publication by the Rationalist Society of Australia. It was established in 2021. Prior to that, we published <\/span>The Australian Rationalist<\/span><\/i> journal in hardcopy format.<\/span><\/p>

Established in 1906, the Rationalist Society of Australia is the nation\u2019s oldest freethought group. A<\/span>mong other key purposes, it aims to propound and advance Rationalism, stimulate freedom of thought, promote inquiry into religious and other superstitious beliefs and practices, and encourage interest in science, criticism, history and philosophy. Through the <\/span>Rationale <\/i>magazine, we continue this mission.<\/span><\/p>
