We welcome contributions from writers in Australia or abroad. We\u2019re looking for opinion and analytical pieces that are easy to read and written in an engaging way.<\/p>

First, pitch your idea to editor@rationalist.com.au<\/a> in no more than 200 words. Explain why your idea matters: what makes it fresh, different, intriguing?<\/p>

Then, if your idea is accepted, submit the full article. Ideally, between 600-1,000 words; maximum 2,000 words. Feel free to include photos, graphs, or videos, with relevant captions.<\/p>

We reserve the right to edit articles, but this will always be subject to your final approval.<\/p>
